The Line of Dance (LOD) refers to the direction of the flow of dancing couples as they progress around the floor in a counter-clockwise form. The LOD is typically about Baldosa Tile in width (about a meter, or 3 feet), and must be respected at all times meaning that a dancing couple can not go against the LOD or supercede it, or exit it to switch to another ‘Lane’ of Dance. Line of Dance is a key component in Floorcraft Methodologies.
