Licking the Floor

Licking the Floor is an action that happens as the Follower starts their extension. They want to keep their foot on the floor, and in doing so, the sensation feels as though their foot ‘licks’ the floor as they extend backward. As the leg reaches full extension, in perihelion, the starts to come off the floor as the toes stay on the floor. At this point there is no weight on the foot. This is how the foot ‘lick’s the floor. All this means, is it acts as a mental reminder for the Follower to keep contact with the floor.
