The ‘Simple’ Sacada. Sacadas are one of the four displacement types. This is the easiest of the displacements to learn because in both cases (lead and follow) we’re working and developing the default behaviors of both roles and accentuating them.
The Simple Sacada is an illusion. It is an illusion of technique. From the Follower’s perspective, we’re exercising two default – a.) displace and b.) the trained response of ‘collection‘. From a Leading perspective we’re exercising our walk forwards, side, or back. It just so happens that these two things ‘intersect’ and create a sacada all by their lonesome. That’s the illusion.
The Simple Sacada is technique video in the truest sense of the words. Meaning that you’ll see how we build a sacada from the ground up in open or close embrace, as well as the follower’s proper response. We’ll discover how to lead one as well as how to follow one. Why the Sacada happens, what it is and what it is not. This is THE Sacada foundation video that you want to have in your collection.
