The Parada Back Cross is not a normal thing. Truth be told, it’s a variation reality with a twist, several actually. Ok, we made it up! It’s a fun toy that can be added to anyone’s dance. Yes, it’s a Parada, but the Back Cross doesn’t happen until after the Parada has completed itself. 🙂 There is one little tiny gotcha with this thing, and it’s the back cross itself. The Follower may hear this as something else entirely. They may bring their crossing foot up next to their calf or they may not cross behind at all or they may cross but they’ll do so in a less than desirable manner. 5 times out of ten, the reason why this happens is that the Follower hasn’t been properly trained on what to do this with this function. It’s an odd situation that almost never happens, so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that they’d not know what to do with this. Which is a lovely segue and reminder to you to follow the link below.
